Saint Patrick's Day (March 17 )is an enjoyable holiday. It is about laughter and fun and also looking for a very tiny person.
Saint Patrick's Day was created by Irish immigrants to honor St. Patrick who was one of Ireland’s patron saints. Parades, special foods, music, dancing, drinking, and a whole lot of green is a great way to celebrate him!
The Shamrock is the plant that renders Saint Patrick's Day. This is because it means “the rebirth of spring” and it illustrates Irish culture. The shamrock is one of the reasons for the celebration of all things green and Irish life in general. Shamrocks look the way they do because oxalis triangularis resembles the shamrock so they have oxalis triangular-shaped leaves. The word shamrock comes from an Irish seamrog meaning “young clover” or “little clover.” Shamrock's real name is Trifolium dubium.
Nowadays people celebrate this holiday by waking up and coming downstairs or walking into a classroom and seeing green toilet water and how the leprechaun messed up the house and/or classroom. There are treats and pots of gold at the end of a rainbow with chocolate gold coins.
Make sure always to wear green or you might get pinched! Also, check the Panther Post (link to Panther post on wix) for more amazing articles!
